Thanks for that kick in the face, Tamu 😂 something I'm really struggling with at the moment is a recent realisation that I have been labouring under the miscomprehension that if we explain hard enough to men what the benefits of rejecting gendered norms holds for them, that they will better understand and support the cause of gender equality. It has only recently dawned on me that some men don't want to be granted the ability to be a fully rounded human beings because of what it means they have to give up: power (whatever form that takes for them - real or imagined). I don't know what to do with this realisation.

And this is it - the trinity of oppression conditions us to believe that power is to be controlled when actually it is to be shared.
This.. I can’t tell you how many conversations I’ve had around this lately, inside myself and with others.
